Alphabe-Thursday (O is for Odd numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21…)
Odd is the opposite of even,
Odd numbers include 1, 3, 5, 7,…
Even numbers can be divided in pairs,
Which form lovely number affairs,
2, 4, 6, 8 are great,
They are a big deal in number’s fate.
Odd plus odd is even,
Odd minus odd is also even;
Odd times odd is again odd,
Hope that these make sense to you, my God.
3 plus 3 is 6,
9 minus 3 is also 6,
What about 5 times 5?
5 times 5 is 25…
Numbers are hard
When we classify them as even and odd,
It is harder
When we think of magic in Harry Potter…
Number games could be fun,
Learn as much as you can, done!

Very enlightening!

I like this! I was never fond of crunching numbers when I was younger but I find a different perspective with them today. Thanks for sharing. Anne
Wow! Amazing! Beautiful poem and wonderful illustration!
I was hopeless at math. I got the basics of it, + – x and divide but as for the rest…. pft.
Our math teacher was a 6ft 4inch bully of a man. In those days they were allowed to hit us, and, I was so scared of him, I couldn’t learn it for fear of being hit by him.
Great reading this though
I am sooooo awful at math….
sigh..
I am horrible at math, but I love this post!
I always thought things in nature were evenly distributed. God doew lots of things in fives your odd number. My exaqmple is in the number of petals enbracing the rose bud.
Thanks for the entertaining refresher!

You are really, really clever.
Definitely the most original AT link so far!

A+
I was never good at math. In fact, I hated school and used to play truant many times (shame on me).
Yet again you show your creativity.
Nicely done!
Excellent number play! I like math and introducing numbers through poetry is great!
Fun.
