Sunday 160 in Blue

I’m able,

But unstable.

I evaporate,

I freeze,

I melt,

I sneeze.

I pour,

I flood,

I tear,

I bear fear.

I clean,

I turn trees green.

As water,

I really matter.

  10. Being water itself creates a poetic, dramatic self-portrait! Interesting!

  11. You sure know a lot about water, are you a mermaid :-)

  12. And of course, water is the new ‘Blue Gold’ we take it for granted so much and yet, without it, everything would soon die. I myself think (the same as quite a few others with more brains that I have) that water is actually ‘alive’
Loving anything and everything to do with water, your prose is lovely.

  13. I could use that to teach the water cycle. Wonderfully written.

  44. Very cool poem! And it’s so true! Water is such an important thing in our lives that we take it for granted and waste it often. I heard that in the near future, fresh water would be scarcer than oil and that countries will fight over it. Scary, huh?

  45. lovely!

Water is something we fight over here in the West usually, but right now we have wayyyyy too much of it!

  46. Really nice :)
