My Sister Lives Too Far Away
It’s difficult to see her, no way.
I remember our sisterhood,
Which is sweet and good.
.
So close together, a decade ago,
She was the one who knows me the best.
She is so loving, I know,
I miss her so much, hard to have a rest.
.
She helped me see things I would not see myself,
She offered me support that touched my heart.
I pray a beautiful life to herself,
This love for her will last despite the fact that we are apart.

My sisters live far away also and I miss talking to them. Beautiful poem.
This is a lovely poem. Wonderful to have a good sister and sad to live far apart, but the love is there and that’s what counts, huh?
Hey, Ji, I think it’s a great idea to explain how to link into potluck. I hope it’s okay. I’m going to add that to my blog. Maybe it will help drive traffic to potluck.
Blog on …
Distance is always hard, especially with the ones we love the most. My brother’s likewise flown the coop, going far and away from my area – just life, interjecting itself. Sounds like you treasure your sister very dearly, though. Glad you two have had that connection!
blood is thicker than water..
A lovely poem this.. not many can express their love this way for their siblings.. well done.. and hey, thanks for letting me know about some award for me.. it emboldens..

I miss my sisters too when they’re away for too long. Luckily they visit pretty regularly though–I have two who live far away and one lives near. They’re my best friends in the world–along with my two brothers!

Such a lovely poem to your faraway sister. I have four sisters and two brothers that live faraway. However, we get together every few years, when I go back to visit family. Such fun to see them all again.
Hi Jingle,
Now I missed my only sister…and thank goodness I just had a great time with her last week when we have had a reunion and visited my father’s tomb, 13 years after he met a fatal accident.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo, even my sister lives too far away from…or rather I am the one who lives farthest from the rest of my siblings so I have to travel so much just to be with them!
A strong love of your sister; sometimes sibling relationships can be difficult but yours obviously is very strong.

Having a sister is a gift we sometimes don´t recognize until it´s taken far away from us…
I know how it´s like to miss her, because somehow as years passed by, she became your best friend, someone you trust.
Great Post!
